Focus is a super power for us men.

Some men have laser like focus and some of us guys run around jumping from idea to idea.

 It’s not that we are procrastinators it’s just that some of us lack focus.


In this article I’m going to discuss the Top 10 Ways to Increase your Focus.

  1. Exercise More.

Exercise increases your neurotransmitter dopamine, epinephrine, and serotonin which all increase your focus.



2. Train your brain:

To train your brain have small tasks that need to be completed throughout the day. When you do this you give yourself something to focus on.



3. Get your game on

When you play mental games you keep your mind sharp. As we age our reflexes and our brain slows down. Mental brain games help maintain your mental speed which increases your focus.



  1. Improve your quality of sleep

Sleep quality is very important. We must restore our mind, body, and soul. Good quality sleep can help improve your focus. We have an article discussing Quality vs. Quantity of sleep. 



  1. Spending time in nature

Nature gives us tranquility. Tranquility gives us peace and when we have peace we are able to focus. Nature clears the mind. A clear mind is easily focused.

Meditation is all about focusing so to increase your focus meditate.

Take a break. Sometimes taking a break can recharge the mind. When you recharge your mind you decrease your anxiety.

Listening to music can help maintain your focus. Personal preference can help you increase focus.

Removing clutter can help decrease distraction. When you decrease distractions you increase your focus. Make sure you not only remove the clutter from your work area but also your mind.


10. Do not multitask.

Multitasking is not a good thing for someone lacking focus. It is best to focus on one job at a time. Complete one job then move to the next. Focus on one item at a time
