Why TOT Is Important?

Injections: We offer different blends of testosterone:

• Testosterone Cypionate: Longer acting medication better for those, who require less frequent injections.
• Testosterone Propionate: shorter acting testosterone: Quicker reaction but requires more frequent injection.
• Testosterone Cypionate/Propionate: Perfect combination of both medications.
• Testosterone Enanthate: Long half life similar to Cypionate, less side effects but more painful injection.

Oral Medication

We offer oral medications to stabilize your testosterone levels, and to boost your bodies natural production of testosterone. We offer E Clomiphene.

E-Clomiphene (Eclomid): Clomid (clomiphene citrate) uses a different approach to increase testosterone and spermatogenesis. It was originally developed and tested to increase ovulation and, thereby, improve fertility in women. The result in men is a modest improvement in testosterone levels while preserving sperm production. We can usually achieve a 100% increase in T levels with EClomid. In some cases, one may see up to a 200% increase. So if you had an initial level of 400, we would hope to see an increase to 800, +/-. Some clients may even see a larger increase.

Clomid for men stimulates the body’s own production of testosterone. Clomid is a pill taken by mouth It does not interfere with the body’s checks and balances of testosterone. Fertility is preserved. No testicular shrinkage. It has few, if any, side effects and this is usually dose-related. Clomid, by increasing T levels, can produce the same/similar effects as traditional TRT. Each patient is different and the response will vary depending on current testosterone level.

What are the Downsides?

In lower levels of testosterone, it takes longer to see the benefits of Clomid than with injection therapy. It may also not work, especially in patients over 60 and those with compound medical issues. Some patients may not see an increase in libido as Clomid does have some mild estrogenic properties. Of course, we follow the labs, just like in TRT, and would correct for an elevated estradiol level if needed (anastrozole).

Other Additional Medications:

With every Testosterone Optimization Therapy, We offer certain add on medications to help boost your testosterone levels or prevent estrogenic side effects.

Anastrozole: Is one of the medications that I use, when needed, to help balance your estrogen to testosterone ratio. Anastrozole is an aromatase-inhibiting drug that comes in the form of a pill and is taken orally. It inhibits the ability of the aromatase enzyme to convert testosterone to estrogen. Thus, it lowers the level of circulating estradiol quite effectively.

Anastrozole is actually FDA-approved for the treatment of breast cancer in women after surgery. As such, its use in men on testosterone replacement therapy is considered to be off-labeled.

The goal of this medication is to make sure your estrogen levels do not remain to high. I offer this medication at an extremely low dosage. The goal of this medication is to eventually stop taking it once estrogen levels are balanced and there are no symptoms.

DIM: stands for di-indolyl-methane. DIM comes from indole-3-carbinol, which is a compound naturally found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and collards. When these foods reach the stomach, indole-3-carbinol is broken down by the stomach acid. DIM is then released as a by-product.

Promotes a healthy balance of testosterone and estrogen by preventing some testosterone from converting into estrogen. (acting as an aromatase inhibitor)
